Explosion kills four in southern Ghana [See More]

An explosion Wednesday afternoon killed four people in the southern city of Tema, authorities in Ghana confirmed.

The explosion occurred at a suburb of the port city 38 km of the capital Accra, William Abakah Blankson from fire service said on telephone.

“It is too early to come out with what might have caused the explosion. We have commenced investigations into it and will come out with our findings as soon as we conclude it,” he said.

One people was injured in explosion.
