Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has denied his FA disrepute charge and requests a personal hearing.
The Veteran Dutch coach confirmed last Friday he will contest the charge, which was prompted by comments he made about referee Chris Foy after his side’s goalless draw at Cambridge last month.

Van Gaal, 63, is facing disciplinary actions for alleging refereeing is “always the same” after his side’s FA Cup draw at Cambridge United on 23 January.

The FA issued a reminder on its Twitter account at 18:00GMT on Tuesday, stating: “It is alleged his comments constitute improper conduct in that they allege and/or imply bias on the part of the match referee and/or bring the game into disrepute.”
A date for Van Gaal’s personal hearing will be set in due course
