Lagos State will practically be shut down on Friday when the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress(APC), General Muhammadu Buhari will storm the state along with member of his team for a mega rally slated for the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos. The rally according to Commissioner for Transportation, Comrade Kayode Opeifa will commence 7.am.
He said the campaign is expected to attract huge human and vehicular traffic around agos especially along Funsho Williams, Eko Bridge, Ikorodu Road, entire Surulere and the Teslim Balogun Stadium Area. “ In this regard, the Lagos State Government will deploy all possible traffic management measures including five hundred AA personnel for this particular event to ensure minimum disruption to motorists and party members coming for the rally”, he said adding that the early morning traffic will not be affected likewise the afternoon traffic.
