See The Talented Footballer Who Changed Nationality To Represent Nigeria




The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) on Thursday, informed that former Swiss Under-20 football player Steven Ukoh will get a chance to represent Nigeria at senior level.

The statement was issued in Abuja by Ademola Olajire, Assistant Directo, Communications, Nigeria Football Association (NFA).
“Ukoh was cleared to switch his nationality from Switzerland to Nigeria.”
“The versatile midfielder, born on June 19, 1991 to Nigerian parents in Berne, Switzerland, currently plays for Biel-Bienne FC in the European country.” 


“His father, Archibong Ukoh and mother Helene, hail from Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom’’, said Ademola Olajire.


It was also mentioned that Chuba Akpom and Semi Ajayi of Arsenal FC expressed their interest in taking part in Super Eagles’ international friendly matches against Cote d’Ivoire and Mali in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
