ISIS Leader’s Wife, Son Caught And Jailed In Lebanon

Baghdadi and wife Lebanon security officials have secured and arrested a son and the wife of Islamic State (IS) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi near the border with Syria, the army revealed.

The pair were arrested by the army as they entered into Lebanon 10 days ago.
The army did not release the names of the pair and al-Safir newspaper reported that Baghdadi’s wife was being questioned at the Lebanese defence ministry.
In June, Baghdadi was put in control of the “caliphate” created by IS in the parts of Syria and Iraq it controls.
The group had last month quenched reports that the leader had been killed or injured in an air strike by US-led forces near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
They released an audio recording of Baghdadi where he said that IS was expanding and won’t be stopped.

This is the second time, Baghdadi’s wife has been detained. She had been arrested earlier, but then used in a prisoner swap deal.
ISIS has been responsible for multiple killings and public execution of those they tag as ‘non-believers’.
