A commercial Lagos bus popularly known as “Danfo” had in the early hours of Monday, November 10, 2014 overturned and burst into flames at Admiralty Circle toll gate Lekki Expressway Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The Trent gathered that several passengers occupying the bus had sustained varying degrees of injuries following the tragic incident which took place at about 6:30 am.

The police operatives attached to the toll gate were seen helping to put out the fire, help the wounded and control traffic.

It was also gathered that while some staff of the toll gate company were helping to put out the fire, others were busy collecting toll charges despite the accident and it had caused a gridlock along the road.
