Following the death of world renown preacher and inspirational speaker, Dr. Myles Munroe in a plane crash in Bahamas, the Christian community in Nigeria has shown its grief at the passing away of the influential man of God.
Punch reports that the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor who spoke on Monday, November 10, 2014 via a telephone interview said Munroe’s death was tragic, shocking and a “slap in the face.”
In his words: “It is unfortunate and I am still in shock. Nothing takes God by surprise. It is very painful and unexpected. Family members should take heart. They left a good legacy behind. We should take comfort from the rich legacy left behind.

“The gift everyone should give is to live for God. We should live like eternity is next breath away. We are not like unbelievers, we have hope. I can’t mourn like those who don’t have hope. Good night, see them on the resurrection morning.”

Speaking on the issue, the founder of the Household of God Church International Ministries, Pastor Chris okotie said: “The black pedagogue of divine mysteries. Munroe, an exemplar of the oracular afflatus. Of him, posterity shall say, there were giants in the earth in those days.”
