Truth About The Arrest Of Wizkid By Kenyan Police For Smoking ‘Igbo’ Exposed

Last week, it was alleged that Wizkid who travelled to Nairobi,(read HERE) Kenya for a concert was arrested by the Kenyan police officials after he was caught smoking in igbo in a hotel.

According to Standard Digital’s report: ‘The incident happened at around 1pm just as the Caro singer was checking out of his hotel room where he has been staying for a week, since his last week’s concert. According to our sources, Wizkid was caught smoking ‘w*ed’ inside the hotel in which smoking is prohibited.

The hotel’s Front Officer asked him why he was smoking before the two got into a heated argument attracting security officers who ended up calling the police to arrest him.’ Wizkid was alleged to have stayed at the Nairobi Crowne Hotel and was made to cough out KSh50,000 for smoking in the hotel, an act against the hospitality outfit’s terms and conditions before he was whisked off to Capital Hill Police Station.

But this is not true, the hotel has said it is false while Wizkid said "Nothing of such happened. It is all rumour, rumors keep churning out every day, it didn’t happen.
