Kidnappers Demand N50 Million To Release Ogun Legislator’s Mother [DETAILS]

While millions of Nigerians were celebrating the nation’s 54th independence anniversary, the family of one of the members of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Honourable Remmy Hazzan was thrown into devastation as their mother was kidnapped that same day.

This sad event happened at about 8.30pm in her compound located at Omu Ijebu in Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State.

However, the kidnap of Mrs. Rachael Hazzan didn’t just end there as these rebels went ahead to demand from the family a token sum of 50 million in order to release the victim peacefully.
According to Hazzan, the kidnappers divulged this information to him on Thursday, October 02, 2014 at about 5pm through a telephone conversation.
Sources said Hazzan revealed that the abductors had earlier called his younger brother demanding to speak with his older brother (Hazzan) so they could bargain and reach a conclusion geared towards releasing the poor woman.
