Nine men have been held by the British police for alleged Islamist-related terrorism, according to NEWS24

According to police sources, the men are suspected of belonging and supporting to groups which have been outlawed for terrorist affiliations, although Scotland yard the arrests were not connected to any immediate terror threat.

Police confirmed that the men, whose ages ranged from 22 to 51, where all being held in central London just as nineteen properties in London and Stoke-on-Trent were being searched.
