Beyonce Responds to Divorce Rumors the Only Way She Can [See More]

The summer hasn't been kind to Beyonce and Jay Z. Sure, they launched their sold out On the Run tour, but their image has certainly taken a beating. In case you have been living in a space station on Jupiter, I am talking about all those cheating and divorce rumors that surfaced after Solange Knowles beat up her brother-in-law in an elevator after the Met Ball. Well, it seems enough is enough and the Queen Bey has finally responded.

Clearly in an attempt to squash all those tongues that continue to wag, she posted a photo of Jay Z and Blue Ivy on the beach, along with the caption: "My favorite hue is Jay Z Blue."

 A sweet sentiment, to be sure. But it comes on the heels of even more damning reports. According to the New York Daily News, the power couple are only keeping up appearances until the end of the tour. It's at that point that they will really come clean about the state of their marriage. 

Supposedly a source close to the couple told them to put on a lovey-dovey act for the paparazzi and on social media even though the marriage is over. Then, after the final concert, they can release a joint statement announcing the split or, at the very least, directly address the cheating rumors. "[Jay Z] wants this tour to end and he wants the rumors to stop," says a source.

Another so-called pal says the pair has been putting on the "happy couple" act for two years now and that the relationship is "strictly business." Not only that, they say Jay wants out of the marriage while Beyonce is fine with just keeping up appearances indefinitely.

Of course the cynic in me thinks their marriage is doomed -- just like every other celeb union.The divorce rate in Hollywood is like 99.5 percent, isn't it? But I for one believe Beyonce. The photo and the caption certainly seem sincere. Their marriage may be strained, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love Jay and the family they have created. If and when she does leave, she will leave on her own terms. She is focusing on the things that she loves about her man. Yes, these photos are for show -- but they also signify how she really feels at this moment in time. Whether he cheated or not, it's her choice to stay or leave. Who are we to judge?
